Book-Keeping Level 2 – Module 2
This course is the second module designed to further your book-keeping level 2 studies using the double entry system so you can keep accurate book-keeping records. And unlike other book-keeping courses, this one puts the renowned Pitman Training name on your CV as proof of your skills.
Following on from our Module 1, this course will guide you through bank reconciliation, trial balances, creditors and debtors, payroll and VAT and much more.
Perfect for anyone who needs to keep their own business financial accounts or for the organisation they work in.
The book-keeping course leaves you with a handy workbook as a reference guide.
The course covers part of the syllabus for the OCR Level 2 book-keeping examination requirements. Taking this and modules 1 and 3 will also enable you to go on and gain a valuable AAT Qualification (AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping) if desired.
Following on from what was learnt in module 1, you will learn more about double entry book-keeping to enable you to keep accurate, efficient accounting records. From here you will be perfectly placed to move onto module 3, the final module in this series of courses.
This course is an ideal follow on for anyone who has successfully completed our Book-Keeping Level 2 – Module 1 course.
If you would like to work as a book-keeper, accounts assistant or need to keep accounting records in your own business this course, along with the other modules, will teach you everything you need to know to be confident in your role.
There are eight lessons within the Book-Keeping Level 2 – Module 2 course.
These cover the use of the double entry book-keeping system, bank reconciliation, sales and purchase ledger control accounts, accounting for bad debt, correcting errors, preparing statements of account, reconciliation of statements of account, paying invoices falling due and using information from within the double entry system to prepare a VAT Return.
This course will take around 20-22 hours to complete.
