Get into HR
Course Outline
HR training (Human Resources) is a vital part of gaining entry to the personnel department. Unlike other HR training courses, ours is flexible, giving you the opportunity to continue your training at a time and in a place which suits you and your family.
You’ll look at the importance of the Personnel Department, methods of recruitment and applying for jobs, legal responsibilities for interviewers, preparations for new employees, the need for training, contracts of employment and the rules of disciplinary action.
Your introduction to Human Resources includes a workbook, which is yours to keep once the training is complete. You’ll also gain the advantage of being able to put the invaluable Pitman Training name on your CV.
This course is also a stepping-stone to CIPD professional qualifications. You may also consider other essential functions of the HR department – payroll, for which we can recommend two courses: Payroll Level 2 and Sage Payroll. Or you could consider our secretarial or Executive PA diplomas, which have the potential to transform your career.
The objective of this course is to teach you the basic principles of HR (Human Resources).
This course is designed for those who wish to gain an introduction to the work of the Personnel/Human Resources Department.
Prior to starting this course it would be preferable if you had experience of using Windows, Word, Excel and Access to proficient level. Some experience of using Mail Merge would be advantageous.
