A Server Support Technician offers a specialist service in developing maintaining, analysing and repairing server IT systems. This diploma will give you the skillset required to be able to handle any request with confidence.
You’ll undertake CompTIA Server+ online training which guides you through how to build and maintain both server hardware and software. You’ll also cover the CompTIA Network+ certification course which will help you learn how to manage and maintain basic network infrastructures. These two, along with the additional courses you decide to undertake, will ensure you meet the industry standard to be a successful Server Support Technician.

If you have a flair for IT and are looking to become a Server Support Technician you’ll need essential knowledge and understanding of server systems. This is an excellent diploma which offers great insight and training into specialist IT server support and all that it entails.
Studied online, it’s an excellent study programme to be able to fit in around existing commitments, making your learning path as easy as possible.
Within the Server Support Technician Diploma there are two core subjects:
- Server+
- Network+
You’ll then also choose three additional elective courses from a list which includes:
- Project Management
- Communication Skills for IT Specialists
- MTA Server Fundamentals
This diploma will take around 110 hours (4 weeks full-time) to complete and you can study at times to suit you.
